Custom domains allow players to connect to FiveM servers using memorable URLs instead of IP addresses and ports. This configuration replaces direct IP connections (e.g., 123.45.67.89:30120) with branded domain names (e.g., play.yourdomain.com).

DNS Configuration

Step 1: Configure A Record

Access the DNS section of your domain registrar or Cloudflare dashboard
Create a new A Record with these specifications:

Name	`play` (or preferred subdomain)
IPv4 Address	Your server IP address
Proxy Status	DNS Only (disabled proxying)

Note: Disabling proxy status exposes your server IP but allows proper FiveM connections.

Step 2: Configure SRV Record

The SRV record enables connections without specifying port numbers.

Create a new SRV Record with these parameters:
