txAdmin Proxy with Cloudflare Tunnel

Configure a secure Cloudflare Tunnel for txAdmin to access the admin panel without exposing the server IP address and prevent DDoS attacks. This method routes traffic through Cloudflare's network infrastructure.

Requirements

Domain added to Cloudflare account
FiveM server (VPS or dedicated)
Cloudflared binary installed on server

Configuration Steps

1. Domain Setup

Access the Cloudflare dashboard
Navigate to: Account Home > Zero Trust > Networks > Tunnels
Create a Zero Trust team if prompted (use the free plan with 50 seats)

2. Tunnel Creation

Click "Add a Tunnel"
Select "Cloudflared" as the tunnel type
Assign a tunnel name (e.g., "txadmin")

Download the cloudflared binary directly to the server hosting the FiveM instance:

Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Navigate to the cloudflared installation directory:

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\cloudflared"
```
Copy and paste the authentication command from the Cloudflare dashboard

5. Traffic Routing Configuration

Configure the following tunnel settings:

Subdomain	txadmin
Domain	Your Cloudflare-managed domain
Service Type	http
URL	localhost:[port]

Security Note: Avoid using the default port 40120. Configure a custom port to reduce automated scan exposure.

To set a custom txAdmin port, add this environment variable to the batch script:

set TXHOST_TXA_PORT=40121

Firewall Configuration:

Open the custom port in Windows Firewall
Close port 40120 if using a different port

7. Deployment

After deployment, the txAdmin panel will be accessible at:

https://txadmin.yourdomain.com
