Network Tab Overview

The Network tab provides comprehensive network configuration details and settings for your server. This section displays primary network information, IPv4 settings, and DNS resolver configuration options.

Primary Network Information

The Primary Network section displays the following server network details:

Field	Description
ID	Network identifier
MAC Address	Hardware address of the network interface
Interface	Network interface name
Speeds	Inbound and outbound connection speeds
Type	Network classification (Private/Public)

IPv4 Network Configuration

IPv4 Address Details

The IPv4 Addresses section provides essential network configuration information:

Field	Description
Address	Your server's IPv4 address
RDNS	Reverse DNS information
Gateway	Default gateway address
Netmask	Subnet mask configuration
Resolvers	DNS resolver settings

Note: If you cannot locate your login credentials or did not receive the credentials email, you can find your IPv4 address in this section.

DNS Resolver Management

IPv4 Public DNS Resolvers

Warning: Only modify DNS resolver settings if you are an experienced user or have been specifically instructed by Valkyrie Hosting staff. Incorrect changes can cause network connectivity issues.

Server DNS configuration requires two resolvers for proper functionality. You can replace the default system resolvers with preferred public DNS services using the Primary and Secondary dropdown menus.

Resolver Configuration Steps

Access the Network tab in your control panel
Locate the IPv4 Public DNS Resolvers section
Select your preferred DNS service from the Primary dropdown
Choose a secondary DNS service from the Secondary dropdown
Apply changes to update the configuration
