Remote Desktop Connection for Windows VPS

Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) provides remote access to Windows-based VPS and dedicated servers. This protocol allows you to manage your server through a graphical interface from any location.

Locating Login Credentials

VPS Servers

Access your login credentials through the VPS Dashboard in your client portal.

Dedicated Servers

Login credentials are provided in the welcome email sent after server deployment. Check all email folders including inbox, trash, junk, ads, and spam if the email is not immediately visible.

Connecting via Remote Desktop

Open Windows Search and type "Remote Desktop Connection"
Launch the Remote Desktop Connection application
Enter the server IP address and credentials from your welcome email
Enable "Allow me to save credentials" to store login information for future connections

Optimal Configuration Settings

Configure the following tabs for best performance:

Tab	Recommended Settings
Display	Full screen or custom resolution based on requirements
Local Resources	Configure clipboard, drives, and device access as needed
Experience	Select connection speed and enable/disable visual effects

Establishing Connection

Click "Connect" after entering credentials and configuring settings
Enter your password when prompted
If a security certificate warning appears, check "Don't ask me again for connections to this computer"
Click "Yes" to proceed with the connection

Disconnecting from Remote Desktop

Choose one of the following methods:

Click the "X" button on the blue connection bar at the top of the screen
Use the Windows Start menu and select "Disconnect" (not "Shut Down")
